Talented,
dynamic sophomore starts choir East Lansing High School offers its
students a lot of clubs and interesting activities, but the one thing
they didn’t have was a gospel choir, according to 10th grader Ryan
Menefee.So, the talented sophomore, son of Ronald and Diana Menefee, decided
to do something about it. He started his own group and added gospel
choir to the list of after school activities offered to his Trojan classmates.Ryan
has long been interested in starting a choir at East“It’s
something I’ve been wanting to do since September,” Ryan said,
"but we just started on January 27th.” Singing is nothing new
to Ryan. It’s been a part of his life almost as long as he can remember. “I’ve been singing in my
church since I was 8-years-old,” he said. Even though the East Lansing High School
gospel choir is just starting up, Ryan has plans for his song birds in
a few months.
